Everyone has heard the story of the three wisemen. But have you heard the story from the horse's point of view? Follow Safanad as he journeys to Bethlehem in search of a mysterious star. He travels with his two companions, Gamali the camel and Simbalo the elephant. Colorful illustrations that fill the entire page and scripture to accompany the story make this a visual treat as well as a spiritual one.

This is a delightful addition to our stack of Christmas books. It gives a unique view of the three wisemen.  I loved the illustrations and how well they matched what was happening in the story. The scriptures at the top of the page were also nice in showing my children where the author got the inspiration for the book. The back of the book also includes some history into other wisemean stories through the centuries and her reasoning behind using a horse and the unique names that she chose. This is a book that I would definitely recommend.
