Sophie needed an escape after an embarrassing incident at home. She escapes to a remote cattle ranch in Australia and becomes the cook. She's only keeping one small secret from everyone - she's a princess in hiding. Sophie fell in love with the Australian outback as she learns how to cook and be domestic. But her cover is blown when her billionaire boss arrives in a helicopter and she inadvertently blows her cover in town. Now the press are after them and she must rely on her boss to escape them once again.

This was a fun story that I read quickly. The characters are typical of a romance novel and the plot is predictable. But it was still a entertaining, fast read that I'm sure any reader of contemporary romance will enjoy. The scenery is well described and the secondary characters are interesting. I've read other books by this author and enjoyed this one as much as the others. The author does a good job of creating some emotional drama and conflicts into the relationship that add depth to the story. Overall, this was a fun read and would make an excellent beach or rainy day read for any romance lover.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley. All opinions expressed are my own.
