The vocabulary is perfect for the intended age. Children will enjoy being able to hold the book and turn the pages themselves. The illustrations fit well with the text and will keep them engaged while being read to. The beautiful message that it leaves with the child is one that we all want to impart to our children. This would be an excellent gift for any toddler or would make a great addition to a nursery or preschool.
