Gone Without a Trace
Logan Point Book 3
Patricia Bradley
Homicide detective Livy is trying to deal with the death of a teenager that she shot during a robbery. It was justified since he pulled a gun on her, but she still can't seem to overcome the images. Her boss recommends a vacation and Livy heads to Logan Point. But once there she runs into Private Investigator Alex Jennings who is investigating the disappearance of a young girl. The clues all look just like the ones that were there two years ago when Livy's cousin disappeared. Can the two be linked? Livy agrees to help Alex in hopes of finding her cousin.
Even though this is the 3rd in the series it can be read as a stand-alone. But based on the writing I would highly recommend reading the first two books. Ms. Bradley is not an author you want to miss. The suspense is well laid out and fits with the plot. The characters are likable or the kind you love to hate. I enjoyed the interaction between the family members and felt the scene was well set for the story. Ms. Bradley might be fairly new to the writing scene, but she's good. I will definitely be reading more of her in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone loving Christian suspense.
I received this book free of charge from Revell Reads in exchange for my honest review.
