A Texas Soldier's Family

Garrett is on his last tour of duty when he gets the call to return home to help with a family crisis. As he's flying home he notices a beautiful woman, Hope. Garrett is dismayed to learn that Hope is in charge of the family scandal that has made the news. Garrett doesn't have a whole lot of faith in professionals who squash the truth to protect a family. So the two clash immediately. But sometimes a guy just has to admit defeat and accept the inevitable.

This was a sweet, romantic story. The plot was pretty fast and covered only a short time period. The main focus was on the romance between the couple, but the author also had a strong theme of family. I liked how she wove the story amongst the romance and stressed the importance of family and putting them first. There was a couple of bedroom scenes, a word of caution if this isn't your thing, but the overall plot of the story in was about family and love. Overall, this was a sweet story that I enjoyed reading.

I received this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
