Good Good Father
Chris Thomlin and Pat Barrett
Tucker, a little bear, is a helper. But he can't help his friends with some of their problems. So he decides to ask the King for help. He hopes that a gift will make the King more likely to help him. But he doesn't know what would be the perfect gift to give a King who has everything. So he goes around asking his friends what the best gift would be. Each of the woodland animals sees the King as something different and give advice based on their view of Him. Each little animal views the King as a good, good King. Tucker learns that his King is not only all of the things the woodland animals view Him as, but He is also a good, good Father who loves Tucker very much.
This is a beautiful story that not only will children love, but parents as well. The illustrations are adorable and fit perfectly with the story. They help tell a tale that will show the children all about the love of their good, good, heavenly Father. The book was inspired by the song of one of the authors, Chris Thomlin. My children both loved the story and I know this will become a favorite that will be read over and over.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts expressed are my own.
