The Jersey Shore Cookbook
Fresh Summer Flavors From the Boardwalk and Beyond
Deborah Smith
The author, a native of New Jersey, is a food blogger. She has taken her experiences with the restaurants and diners around the Jersey Shore and created a tasteful cookbook. The colorful photography will please you visually and the recipes will be sure to please your tastes buds. Each page has a brief history of the restaurant it was taken from. The recipes all have easy to understand instructions and well laid out descriptions. At the back of the book is the usual contributors list, metric conversions table, and index. But there is also a neat little map with all of the restaurants listed.
I loved the color and vibrancy of this book. The writer was able to entice me with her descriptions and the history of each little dining place was fascinating. With the excellent photography, colorful graphics, and variety of places featured, I'm sure that any cook will fall in love with this book. I've tried out a couple of the recipes and they were delicious. Overall, this is a cookbook, that will appeal to a much wider audience. It can be treasured for its history and photography as well.
I received this book free of charge from Goodreads in exchange for my honest review.
