Lord Bachelor
Tammy L. Bailey
Edmund's father put a ridiculous clause in his will stating that Edmund must be married to a wealthy woman by a certain date to get his inheritance and title. Edmund is use to the richer things in life and the thought of no money is terrifying. So he flees to the US in hopes of finding a rich, American woman who will fit the requirements of his late father's will. He meets an old friend who convinces him to a crazy reality tv idea; one that might land him a wealthy wife. But then he also meets Abby, a poor, beautiful woman who changes everything he thought about himself and his future.
This was a contemporary, magical romance with a bit of lords and fairy godmothers. The story line was sweet and romantic with a bit of angst thrown in. The characters were authentic and engaging. I loved the idea of the rich guy meets poor girl and the fact that it didn't quite end the way I had anticipated. Overall, this book would be enjoyed by lovers of romance and fairy tale endings.
I received this book free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
