Amish Christmas at North Star

Amish Christmas at North Star
Four Stories of Love & Family
Katie Ganshert, Cindy Woodsmall, Mindy & Emily Clark, Amanda Flower

One cold and snowy night a midwife has the greatest joy of delivering four babies. Each one carries a special place in her heart. Called Rebekah's babies, they are now all grown up and looking for love in North Star. When a reporter reads an old newspaper about that stormy night, he is intrigued and sets out to hear the story from the midwife, Rebekah, herself.

If you read my reviews you'll know that I'm not a fan of Amish fiction. Only a couple of authors have written in the genre well enough that I enjoyed them. So when one of my favorite authors (Ganshert) wrote her first Amish novella, I had to check it out. I was glad to see one of the authors that writes enjoyable Amish fiction included. And while Katie wrote the best story, I was pleased to finish the book and realize that I thoroughly enjoyed all of the stories. They were well written, the plots were not rushed for a novella, and the characters had depth. The romances were realistic and sweet between the couples. This is one Amish book that I'll actually keep and reread.

I received this book free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
