A Plain and Sweet Christmas Romance Collection
Jerry Eicher, Olivia Newport, Lauralee Bliss Romona Cecil, Dianne Christner,
Melanie Dobson, Rachael Phillips, Claire Sanders, Anna Schmidt
Nine authors have come together to write romantic novellas about Amish, Quaker, Mennonite, and Amana settlesments. Each story is tied together by the themes of Christmas, Christian romance, and the simple lives of these people of faith. Each novella can be read as a stand alone, but some authors have used minor characters from their other books to create a side story. The short stories give the reader a taste of what each author's writing style is.
Some of these stories have appeared in print before. But I didn't mind reading them again. Each story was simple, sweet, romantic, and full of the Christmas spirit. This book would be excellent for those moments when the reader only has a short time to read, as each story is short and can be read by itself. I loved the cover and while I read this as an ebook, would have picked up the book based on the cover alone. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christmas stories that have romance and inspirational tones. It would also make a great Christmas gift for the reader in your life.

I received this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
