Elvy P. Rolle
Follow the beautiful Blue Morpho butterfly through its changes and then as it joins other butterflies and flits through nature. The text is a lyrical poem spread throughout gorgeous illustrations of nature, children, and various butterflies. Eleven different types of butterflies are used in the pictures and then identified in the back of the book. There is a Blue Morpho butterfly that can be found on every page. At the back of the book is also a note to the parents outlining some of the ways we can help our children become engaged with nature.

My daughter (7 yrs old) loved the book. She actually read it to me and her best friend, and then went back to the beginning to find the Blue Morpho. It opened up several discussions about nature and butterfly gardens. The presentation was beautiful and we can't wait to see the next book in the series. My daughter wants to keep the book, but I will be getting a copy for our school library as well.

I received this book free of charge from Body & Soul Publishing in exchange for my honest review.
