Bright colors, clear photographs, easy to understand instructions, and beautiful spiral bound pages are just a few of the things to like about this how-to book on quilting. The book begins with a brief history lesson on quilting and then jumps right into the basics of quilting. Very thorough and detailed, but easy enough for the novice to understand. The last half of the book is filled with projects to practice your newly learned information. They range from simple to difficult, but the instructions are very clear with each project.

I loved the look of this book. And even though I'm not a quilter (yet), I didn't feel out of my element or confused when reading everything. The book inspired me to start a project instead of feeling overwhelmed like some of the more complicated books I've looked at.

I received this book free of charge from Goodreads in exchange for my honest review.
