The Legacy

The Legacy
The Restoration Series Book 4
Dan Walsh & Gary Smalley
Doug has been going through the motions for years, but he hasn't felt a connection with God in quite some time. His parents concern for him grows as he heads off for college. Christina has moved into Doug's parents garage apartment and is settling in. But her unreciprocated feelings for Doug and her feeling of uselessness prompt her to make some changes in her life.

The story picks up where the third book left off. I wouldn't recommend this book as a stand-alone since all of the characters from the previous books are not only in the story, but their stories continue to some degree. The writing style feels like a little like a non-fiction counseling book that has been put to fiction. The thoughts and feelings appear to be over expressed to prove a point. The authors bring lots of Biblical truth and thoughtful insight into their writing while telling an entertaining story that will keep readers engaged. The authors wrapped up the series with this book and tied up any loose ends from the previous books.

I received this book free of charge from Revell Reads in exchange for my honest review.
