The Captain needs to find the perfect flag for his pirate ship. But Captain No Beard is having troubles with his crew. Everyone was doing their jobs and working together when they heard Mongo and Zachary fighting. Captain No Beard needs to come up with a solution so that everyone has a job and works together. His first suggestions don't work. But he doesn't give up. He keeps trying until he finds the perfect job for Zachary.
The story teaches the concepts of working together, the importance of family, and never giving up. The bright and colorful illustrations add whimsy and help tell the story. Children will delight in the fun and creativity of the story. Parents will appreciate the life lessons that are being subtly taught. Another sweet book about family from this author. My children and I look forward to reading more by her.
