There is a special place in the heart of mothers for their son. As a mother, you might not understand your son. He doesn't think or act like you do. But he is very close to your heart and you want the best for him. These authors have taken lessons and prayers from their experiences as parents and written this beautiful book. Each chapter begins with several scripture verses that will tie into the prayers. Then a very specific prayer is outlined asking and talking to God about your son. Interspersed between the chapters are, A Mom's Story, where a mother will talk about her experiences with her son and how prayer worked for her. 

The book is well laid out and easy to read. The subject matter is a serious one, but the content isn't heavy or dry. This is the type of book that can be read through, but also used over and over again as the situations arise. Prayer is an ongoing thing and this book will help with that. I appreciated the author's take on prayer and how she focused on the mother as well as the son. I would highly recommend this book for any mother with a son.
