Can a Princess Be a Firefighter?
Carole P. Roman
Two little girls ask their mom if they can be a firefighter and still be a princess. Follow the story as the girls and their mom talk about all of the jobs that girls can do and all of the options and choices they can make when they choose a career.
The illustrations are precious and my daughter loved them. The concept behind the story is that you can do anything that you want to do and that you should choose a job that you love. I enjoyed the story as much as my daughter did. The lyrical flow to the story made it easy for me to read, the text left openings to talk to my child about what she wanted to be when she grew up, and the vocabulary is correct for the intended age group. We've enjoyed quite a few of this author's books before, but this one is a favorite.
I received this book free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
