The Penny

Jenny is walking down the street with her sister when she spies a penny stuck to road. She passes it by, but has a change of heart and returns to dig it out of the hot pavement. This action sets events in place that will change her life.
I've read books by both of these authors and loved them. So I was curious what a collaboration by these two great authors would be like. It was amazing. I really loved this book. The story was about acceptance, forgiveness, and friendship. The authors took a great story and made it thought provoking and heartwarming. Even the difficult subjects were handled with talent and grace. Definitely a keeper.
