Jimmy is now in the sunset years of his life. He's retired from coaching and is enjoying his quiet life. But one thing still bothers him. The hidden chapel in the woods that he built for the woman he thought he would marry. But she left him and now he's decided to sell the chapel so that someone else can enjoy it and love it like he does. Taylor, the woman that he gets to photograph the chapel will turn out to be connected to him in ways that he never imagined.

This was a very unique book. It had several separate story lines woven into the plot that all came together in the end. The characters came alive as the story progressed. The heart wrenching plot was also redeeming. The story dealt with disappointment, faith, forgiveness, and marriage. I enjoyed the story and it left me thoughtful and contemplative. I've read books by this author before and enjoyed them. This one, while different from her other books, was well written and will be recommended to my friends.

I received this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
