Gregory, often called GQ, is a little Gambel's quail that lives in the dessert. Follow the little quail as he travels through the dessert seeing plants and other animals. The book comes complete with a music cd and is packed full of information about the Gamel's quail and the dessert it lives in. It also has pages of extra activities for home and school. The book would be excellent for use in a school/home school setting.

All of the learning aspects aside, my children loved this book. The rhyming words and colorful illustrations captured their attention and had them asking me to read it over and over. They also enjoyed the sing-a-long cd that came with the book. This book is definitely a keeper.
