Mia loves design and fashion. She helps with the design elements in the cupcake business she runs with her friends. But when a fashion club is started she decides to see if she can juggle the cupcake business, fashion club, school, and all of her other activities. Problems arise in both her home and school life that might ruin everything she has worked so hard for.
The art work is whimsical and helps give the feel of a diary. The author has written a series that will definitely appeal to the middle school girls. Each book in the series is a stand alone story, but each book showcases a
different girl in the cupcake club. Every young girl will be able to
find a character to relate to. The characters deal with real life issues and the resolutions are written in a way that young girls can relate to. The importance of organization, family, and friends is showcased in the story.
