More Bears

The author is writing his bear-less book when he hears a voice "More Bears". He is reluctant to change his perfect little story, but the voice is insistent. Eventually he ends up with a story so full of bears that he can't keep track of them all.
The writer clearly has the gift for reaching children. My kids are in love with this book. But I'll admit that it's one of my favorites too. The story is hilarious, the names for the bears are funny, and the ending is perfect. The author and illustrator worked well together. The illustrations tell the story just as much as the words do. Definitely a book that has landed in our top favorites list for many reasons.
