Ashley and Marcus are next door neighbors. But after one date, that went horribly wrong, they've been at each others throats. But both Marcus and Ashley need each other for their business's. So they agree to pretend to date. When a fire breaks out in Ashley's apartment, she reluctantly moves in with Marcus.

This was one of those very predictable, but fun to read romance plots. It's classic boy and girl don't get along, but must pretend to be together for some reason. Then they miraculously learn more about each other and fall in love. It was a fast read with some bedroom scenes, but overall was just sweet romance. The characters didn't really jump out at me and I couldn't really engage with them. And this probably led to my not connecting with the story on a deeper level. But I still enjoyed the plot. I think this would make a great beach read or a book to take along when you have some waiting time. Nothing highly dramatic or suspenseful, just fun.

I received this book free of charge from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
